These Terms of Use explain the rules for using thehomecoffeebar.com. They're written to be readable, but they are a legal agreement between you and The Home Coffee Bar (“we”, “us”, “our”), so please read them.
On this page
Agreement to these terms
By visiting or using The Home Coffee Bar, including its pages, printables and newsletter (together, the “site”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Using the site
The site is for adults and is meant for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the servers behind it;
- use bots, scrapers or similar tools to copy content in bulk, including to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, without our written permission;
- remove or hide copyright notices, credits or affiliate disclosures;
- frame the site or present our content as your own.
Our content and how you may use it
Unless stated otherwise, everything on the site, including text, photos, graphics, pin images, printables, the logo and the site design, is owned by or licensed to The Home Coffee Bar and is protected by copyright and trademark law. “The Home Coffee Bar” name and logo are our trademarks. Other brand names and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.

Free printables license
Our free printables (such as signs, labels, menu boards and checklists) are licensed to you, not sold or transferred. You may:
- download and print them for use in your own home, or to give a printed copy as a personal gift;
- print as many copies as you need for that personal use.
You may not sell, share or redistribute the files (printed or digital), upload them to another website or file-sharing service, include them in products, claim them as your own design, or use them for a business, event or classroom without our written permission. Share a link to the printable's page instead, so others can get it from us. Colors may look different on screen and in print depending on your printer and paper.
Affiliate links and recommendations
The site is supported by affiliate commissions. When you click some links and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The Home Coffee Bar is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. In line with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides, affiliate links are labeled and every post with them carries a disclosure. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Our recommendations are our honest opinions, based mainly on research such as manufacturer specifications, prices and owner reviews. We haven't personally used every product we mention, and a post will say so plainly when we have.
No professional advice
Everything on the site is general information and inspiration for setting up a coffee bar at home. It is not professional advice of any kind, including electrical, construction, interior design, financial, medical or nutritional advice.
- Projects at home. Mounting shelves, moving furniture, drilling into walls or plugging in appliances can cause injury or damage. Check your walls, anchors and load ratings, follow the manufacturer's instructions, check your lease before drilling, and hire a licensed professional for electrical or plumbing work.
- Appliances. Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions, clearance requirements and outlet ratings for coffee makers, espresso machines, kettles and other appliances.
- Food and drink. Recipes and drink ideas are for general enjoyment. Check ingredients for allergies and talk to a doctor about caffeine if you are pregnant, have a health condition or take medication.
You are responsible for how you use the information on the site.
Accuracy, prices and availability
We work to keep information accurate and up to date, but mistakes happen and things change. Product sizes, features, prices, availability and retailer policies can change at any time without notice. Always check the details on the retailer's or manufacturer's site before you buy. Measurements and budgets in our posts are guides; measure your own space. If you spot an error, please tell us so we can fix it.
Buying from other companies
We don't sell the products we recommend. When you buy through a link on the site, you buy directly from that retailer, under its terms, prices, shipping, return and warranty policies. Questions about an order, a refund or a faulty product should go to the retailer or manufacturer. We aren't responsible for their products or services.
Things you send us
If you send us something, such as a photo of your coffee bar, a tip or feedback, you confirm you have the right to share it. Unless we agree otherwise, we will ask your permission before publishing your photo. Ideas and feedback can be used freely without payment to you. Please don't send confidential information.
Newsletter
If you sign up, we'll send the freebie you asked for and our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. How we handle your email address is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Links to other websites
The site links to retailers, Pinterest and other websites we don't control. A link isn't an endorsement of everything on that site. We aren't responsible for the content, products, privacy practices or availability of other websites, and your use of them is at your own risk and under their terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free or free of viruses, or that a product or setup we describe will suit your home.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Home Coffee Bar and its owner, editors and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or property, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, its content or any product or website we link to, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to US $100.
Some places don't allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited, so some of these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Indemnity
If you break these Terms or misuse the site or its content, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, losses and legal fees we incur as a result, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of The Home Coffee Bar is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern, please email us first. Most problems can be solved quickly and informally. If you live in the EEA or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
General terms
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the affiliate disclosure are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
- We may transfer these Terms to a new owner of the site. You may not transfer your rights under them.
- We may change, pause or stop any part of the site at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the moment they're posted. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
