Hi, I'm Claire

I'm Claire Bennett, the editor behind The Home Coffee Bar. I write about one small corner of the house: the spot where your morning coffee happens, and how to make it work in a real kitchen.

Why this site exists

Coffee bar photos are everywhere, but most of them skip the parts that decide whether a setup works at home: how wide the counter is, where the outlet sits, what fits under a cabinet and what it all costs. This site fills in those parts.

Everything here follows one idea: a coffee corner should fit your space and your budget before it fits a photo. So every setup comes with sizes, every list has a budget option, and I'll tell you when something isn't worth the money.

How I choose what to recommend

  • I compare manufacturer specs (especially width, depth and height), current prices and owner reviews across several stores.
  • I mark renter-friendly picks and anything that needs drilling or a dedicated outlet.
  • I haven't used every product I list. Picks are based on research, not hands-on testing, unless a post says so in plain words.
  • Some links earn me a commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what makes the list. Full details: Affiliate disclosure.

  • Furniture and machine picks that fit small kitchens
